Amazing Photoshoot Locations on O'ahu

We are so grateful you’re trusting us to capture your family's memories! Being in a place as stunning as Hawai'i, choosing the perfect location to have your photos taken can be a bit overwhelming, and because of this we’ve gathered our favorite photoshoot locations for you to choose from! Whether you want a beautiful sunset photo hanging in your living room or a tropical paradise album on your coffee table, we know you'll find an awesome fit here!
1. Kualoa Regional Park
This beautiful spot on the east side of the island is right across the street of Kualoa Ranch. You can't beat this beach with a backdrop of Mokoli'i Island to one side, and the majestic Ko'olau Mountain Range to the other!

2. Barbers Point Beach Park
This is always our first recommendation to anyone who hopes to have an epic sunset! Hidden on the west side of O'ahu, this location always provides vivid sunsets and the lighthouse is adorable!

3. Ho'omaluhia Botanical Garden
Sweeping views of the Ko'olau Mountain range sound like your cup of tea? Well, you're gonna love this location! With lots of tropical plant life this lush garden looks amazing in photos!
Note: City & County of Honolulu Botanical Gardens are open daily from 9am-4pm and unfortunately are not pet friendly.

4. Nimitz Beach/Kalaeloa Beach Park
This location is a 2-for-1 featuring sandy beaches with exposed coral and lots of wispy trees!

5. Wahiawa Botanical Garden
This botanical garden located in the Central part of O'ahu is full of trees and topical plants. There are also paved walking paths so you can have a lush green backdrop without ever getting your feet muddy!
Note: Honolulu Botanical Gardens are open daily from 9am-4pm and unfortunately are not pet friendly.

6. Mokule'ia Beach Park
If you want to take a trip up to the North Shore of O'ahu, here is your chance! White sandy beach and exposed coral come together for a spot that really captures the beauty of the islands!

7. Foster Botanical Garden
This hidden gem right in the middle of Honolulu has a beautiful selection of trees & plants, and lots of shade! There are walking paths and green lawns that are perfect for little ones to explore.
Note: City & County of Honolulu Botanical Gardens are open daily from 9am-4pm and unfortunately are not pet friendly. Foster also charges admission: Adults $5, Hawaii Residents $3, Children 6-12 $1, 5 & under are free.

8. Honolulu Museum of Art
Located right in Downtown Honolulu, this museum was built in 1927 and features Spanish Colonial design elements with Asian influences. After your photo shoot in the outdoor courtyards, you can stop for coffee or take a peak in the galleries.
Note: HoMA is open from 10am-6pm, Wednesday-Sunday and unfortunately is not pet friendly. The museum also charges admission: Adults $25, Hawaii Residents $15, Children 18 & under are free.

9. Kahe Point Beach
Looking for something a little more rustic? This may be the perfect spot for you! With an awesome "dried grass" look, and lots of Kiawe trees, this unique location is worth considering. Access to the railroad is the cherry on top!
