Melissa's Baby Shower | 03.01.20 | Natsunoya Tea House

We are so excited for our photographer Melissa to welcome her very first child into the world! Her and her husband are expecting a little boy who they plan to name Ansel. Melissa is totally obsessed with llamas and alpacas so it only made sense we'd incorporate that into the baby shower theme. We went for a black, white, and gold vibe with little hints of llamas throughout. We held the shower in the Juugo room at Natsunoya Tea House and got our linens from The Wedding Linen Company to bring the room together. For centerpieces we did big balloon filled blocks that spelled out baby and ended each with a little llama stuffed animal. For favors we went with tiny potted succulent candles and tags we specially designed to match the theme. We had a station for onesie decorating and late night diaper decorating. The idea of these was to write funny messages on them to make late night changes a little more fun for the new parents--think "I like it when you call me big poopa" and "POOP! There it is" hehe! Our dessert table sat in front of a sparkly gold backdrop and Melissa's sister in law, owner of Afaires Event Planning built that awesome balloon arch that went over it and made simple floral arrangements for the table as well! We hung up the custom sign that Picturesque Laser Decor created specially for them and had their "Llama Mama" cake topper in the donut cake we built! We also had rice krispy pops, brownies, and red velvet bites for guests to enjoy! It was a gorgeous shower and everyone was excited to shower Melissa with love! Thankful for everyone who made it what it was!
