We first met little Stella's parents, Sherie + Kai, at a consultation through our sister company VIVIDfotos when they were looking for their wedding photographers. They decided to trust us with capturing their engagement photos + special day and with all of our meetings we had the chance to get to know them! They are ocean lovers through and through, and fishing is something that they LOVE to do together. When we saw their baby announcement we were over the moon excited for them and we were even more excited when they decided to trust us with capturing their maternity, newborn, + quarterly baby photos! We were so stoked to meet baby Stella and we began her session with swaddling her in blush pink--the same color as the dress her mommy wore in her maternity photos--and propping her up in our wooden bucket on top of our floral floor drop. For the next look the amazing local, mommy-preneur of Catherine's Niche crocheted a custom fishing outfit in honor of one of her parents favorite things. We shot her on our blue backdrop so she looked like she was in the ocean and we couldn't get over how cute she looked holding her line with her little fishy on it, hehe! For Stella's last solo look we wrapped her up in our forest green, her mom also wore one of our maternity wardrobe dresses in this color so they matched and it was super cute! We ended our session with family photos of the 3 of them in front of our boxwood backdrop and it was truly adorable!
